  • Tuitionary is a trusted community marketplace that allows you to search, compare and reserve tuition centre classes. Here are some reasons why you should use Tuitionary:
  • Search conveniently by subject and location and discover tuition centres near you without having to walk around your neighbourhood just to find out the available options.
  • Have information at your fingertips. No more going through different flyers and websites only to find incomplete information. Search for the exact tuition centre class you want right here.
  • Tuitionary's reservation system allows you to reserve tuition centre classes conveniently without having to leave home or office. Plus, you can even reserve a lesson after the tuition centre’s operating hours.
  • Be served instead. Request a callback from any tuition centre and they will be in touch with you at your preferred timing.
  • How do I register?
  • To reserve a lesson, you first have to create an account. Signing up and creating a Tuitionary account is totally free!

    You can register with these 3 simple steps:
    1) Go to

    3) Fill in your details and click ‘Sign Up’

    After you sign up, be sure to complete your profile to help the tuition centre understand more about you.
  • How do I search for a tuition centre?
  • After you select the level, subject and location on the homepage, all relevant search results will be displayed. We also have additional search filters so you can narrow your results by availability and price. You can also search for a specific tuition centre by name by typing their name in the search bar on the search results page.

Account and Profile

  • Can I make a reservation for a lesson without completing my profile?
  • Tuitionary is a community built on trust, so we encourage parents and students to complete their profile before making their first reservation. When your profile is complete, it helps the tuition centre with pre-registration and helps you to save time. Other parents and students also benefit knowing that the reviews and testimonials you write are reliable and authentic. This works for your advantage too when you are able to cross-reference from other member’s valuable reviews and testimonials.

    You may follow these steps to edit your profile information:
    1) Click on your name at the top right corner of the page and select “Edit Profile” from dropdown list
    2) Fill in your details
    3) Click on “Update and Save”
  • What are verifications?
  • Getting your identity verified is the easiest way to help build trust in the Tuitionary community. Verifications connect your profile on Tuitionary to other personal information such as:

  • Email Address: Click on the link in our email to you to confirm that you receive our email notifications
  • Mobile Number: Enter an SMS verification code to confirm that you receive our SMS notifications
  • Offline ID: Take a photo or upload an image of your government-issued ID such as NRIC, driver’s license or passport to connect your Tuitionary profile to actual information about you

  • The information you provide during the verification process is governed by our Privacy Policy and all information we collect will be stored securely by Tuitionary.
  • How do testimonials work?
  • Testimonials help parents and students in the Tuitionary community to know more about the tuition centre and make better decisions. Testimonials will appear publicly on the tuition centre’s Tuitionary profile page. Tuition centres can request testimonials from friends, family members, ex-students and existing students. The only way you can write a testimonial for a tuition centre is in response to a testimonial request sent by the tuition centre.

    Testimonials are different from reviews, which parents or students write after completion of the lessons booked through Tuitionary.
  • Can I close my account?
  • You can close your Tuitionary account at any time by giving Tuitionary seven (7) business days’ notice of intention and by sending a request via email to


  • How do I reserve a tuition centre class?
  • At the tuition centre’s profile page, click on the “Make a reservation” button. Fill in all the details in this page and click on the “Submit Request” button. The tuition centre has 2 days to either confirm or reject your request, otherwise the request will automatically expire. Tuitionary will notify you via email and SMS once the tuition centre has responded.
  • What happens when a tuition centre confirms my booking request?
  • You will receive a notification via email and SMS. You can retrieve your Confirmation of Booking from the “Your Lessons” section of your Tuitionary dashboard. Tuitionary recommends that you bring along the Confirmation of Booking during your visit to the tuition centre.

  • Can I cancel reservations with the tuition centre?
  • You may approach and liaise directly with the tuition centre to make changes to your booking. All cancellation requests shall be subject to the tuition centre’s prevailing Terms and Conditions.
  • What are the conditions I need to fulfill before requesting for a cancellation?
  • Please bring the cancellation request to our attention in writing ( or via telephone ( +65 90197425)
  • Respond to any requests by us for additional information or cooperation on the cancellation request; and
  • You must have used reasonable efforts to try to remedy the circumstances of the cancellation request with the tuition centre prior to making a cancellation request.
  • Can the tuition centre cancel lessons?
  • Yes, but it is unlikely that the tuition centre will cancel lessons. We know that cancellations can have serious implications on a child’s education and Tuitionary discourages tuition centres from cancelling lessons by imposing penalties on them.


  • How do reviews work?
  • Tuitionary’s review system allows parents or students to leave honest and transparent reviews which help others in the community to make better decisions. All reviews are written by parents or students from our community, so any review you see is based on completed lessons booked through Tuitionary. After completion of the final lesson booked through Tuitionary, you will be asked to leave a review for the tuition centre and have 30 days to do so.
  • Can the tuition centre reply to my review?
  • Yes, but only within 14 days of when the tuition centre receives the review. We will post the tuition centre’s response below your review on their Tuitionary profile page.
  • What are the Tuitionary review guidelines?
  • We believe in transparency and clear communication. When writing a review, we ask that you stick to the facts and provide constructive information that is helpful to everyone in the Tuitionary community. Genuine reviews are the cornerstone of our community. We prohibit:

  • Reviews that do not represent the client’s’ personal experience;
  • Reviews that are unrelated to the actual booking;
  • Content that endorses or promotes illegal or harmful activity or violence, or is profane, vulgar, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or discriminatory;
  • Content that violates another person's or entity’s rights, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights (e.g. publishing another person’s full name, address or other identifying information without permission); and
  • Content that is proven to be used as extortion.

  • Tuitionary’s default position is not to censor, edit, or delete reviews. However, there are rare cases in which we may take the step of disallowing or removing reviews or review responses. We reserve the right to remove any content that violate our review guidelines.

    Any attempt to use reviews to force any Tuitionary member to do something they are not obligated to do is a misuse of reviews. If you think you have experienced extortion, please report it to Tuitionary immediately.
